For the second year in a row, the Wylie Tennis Team went to state. Wylie dominated the playoffs winning 13-0 against Lubbock Cooper in Bi-District, 17-0 against El Paso Chapin in Area, 12-4 against Amarillo in the Regional Quarterfinals, 10-2 against Argyle in the Regional Semifinals, and 10-5 against Grapevine in the Regional Finals. Unfortunately, they were eliminated in the State Semifinals by Frisco Centennial- 11-3 who went on to win the title. They will only be losing a handful of seniors and are gaining a new wave of young players. The team was disappointed, but they are excited to try for the championship again next year. Go Bulldogs!
