Wylie High School is excited to see Tiada Radke being named principal beginning with the 2026-2027 school year. She currently is fulfilling the role of assistant principal. I sat down with Mrs.Radke to ask her questions about next year, as well some fun questions about her high school years.
- What makes you the most excited about being principal next year? “I really love our culture here; we have got some great things going on.” Talking with Radke about next year, she mentioned all the new construction that is happening at Wylie High School and how that brings more opportunities for new things next year.
- What was your favorite subject when you were in high school? “Science, and I taught science before moving to administration.”
- What motivates you to show up and work hard for students every day? “I really enjoy student growth from the beginning of high school all throughout those four years.”

Courtesy of Facebook - What do you think is the most important skill we should be learning in school? “Study skills and life skills are always beneficial.” Life skills are needed forever after high school, and study skills are helpful especially for students who are planning on going to college. In her eyes, these are the most important skills to learn while in high school.
- What’s the best piece of advice you’d give your teenage self? “Just keep working and chase your dreams.”
With a clear vision and a heart for students, it’s safe to say that Wylie High School is eager to see the great things we’ll accomplish under her leadership.
