The girls’ soccer team just finished up district play with a strong season record of 14–4 overall and 6–2 in district, earning second place in district. After months of hard work, the team is now getting ready to head into the playoffs.
One thing that has made this team so successful is the way players from all four grades have come together. Everyone has played an important role this season, whether it’s scoring goals, making big defensive plays, or supporting teammates on the sidelines. The team has built a lot of chemistry, which has helped them push through tough games. This year’s team also has six seniors, who have helped lead the team throughout the season. As it’s their final season playing for the school, they’ve brought a lot of experience and leadership that has helped the whole team stay focused and motivated.
Now the team is preparing for their first playoff game against Lubbock Cooper on March 20th. It’s expected to be a competitive game, but the team is excited for the challenge and ready to give it their all. Overall, it’s been a great season so far, and the Lady Bulldogs are hoping to keep the momentum going as they head into the playoffs.
