With summer being only a few months away, spring sports are kicking off for the Wylie district. So far, the baseball and softball seasons have been performing quite impressively.
In softball, we are currently 20-8 overall and 5-3 in District.
In baseball, we are currently 20-4.
Boys’ golf won district and girls’ golf got second, with the teams going to regionals April 15-16 and April 17-18 respectively.
The tennis team has district April 29.
The track season is doing well with an overall winning season. They already had district, and the area meet is this Friday, April 12 and Regionals will be April 18-19.
Overall the Wylie spring sports seasons have been doing very well, and with the sports still active, we can hope to see even more impressive athletic feats in the Wylie’s future. Check out the spring schedules on the Wylie Athletics page.
