At number one we have door 605 which has the right to the “Best Over All Door“ award and also had the most effort put into its creation. Its theme is The Nightmare before Christmas and is quite detailed with its hand painted mountains and the Iconic Jack Skellington scene.
The “Most Creative Door” award goes to door 308. The theme of this door is From the movie Gremlins. It had ripped up presents scattered all over the floor in front of the door and gremlins popping out of the Christmas tree and all the presents.
The “Sweetest Door” award goes to door 216. This door is covered in peppermint and candy cane with a man wearing candy inspired clothes on the door as well. It also has real peppermint all along the door frame.
The “Classic Door” award goes to door 403. It’s a gingerbread house spanning the walls, and it is decorated with gumdrops and peppermint on/around the door, a roof, and gingerbread men of course.
The next door award is the “My Favorite Door” award, and it goes to door 107. The door is Peanuts themed and has Snoopy the Beagle lying on his doghouse while the children sing around him. It is decorated with cotton acting as snow at the bottom and multiple handmade characters along with a hand drawn sky.
The best hallway decoration goes to the King Candy Castle in the 400 hall. It is a massive candy castle with tons of sweets raining down from the sky. It is decorated with fluff on the towers and cupcakes along the main castle.
The most scientific door goes to door 612. It is decorated with chromosomes, a large DNA figure, presents, lights, and even snow with a Christmas tree. That’s all for this year’s door awards, and that wraps up the last competition before winter break.
