Gardening

Sadie Mae Todd, staff writer

It’s officially Spring at Wylie High! During the Spring one of my favorite activities is planting my garden. Here are some ways you can benefit from gardening.

Gardening is a really good practical activity. You can grow your own vegetables and fruits and thereby you can ensure that you have healthy organic food on the table. When you cook vegetables from your garden, you do so knowing that you’re getting the freshest meal you can. Gardening necessitates learning about different plants that thrive in various conditions and planning the layout of the garden. Achieving all these can give mental happiness, and it can open up your mood.
Gardens can provide a healthier diet and a healthier lifestyle. Gardening is also a great life lesson that is passed on through generations. It is a great learning experience, no matter the age.
