This fall the Wylie Theatre Department brings Suessical: Dr. Seuss The Muscial! The cast and everyone involved is extremely excited to bring this to you live! The lead of the musical, Logan Sawyers, the Cat in the Hat himself stated ,”I am really excited; there’s a lot of room for funny stuff and improv, and it will be amazing.” The rest of the cast seems extremely excited too. Addie Fellona stated, ”I’m super pumped to do it…I’ve never been a lead in a musical before, so it’s kind of nerve wracking. It’s okay though because I’m going to try my hardest, and I know everyone is going to be proud of me as long as I try my best.” The theatre department is definitely working hard to bring you Suessical. It will be a fun adventure to go through. Suessical is about your favorite Dr. Seuss characters coming to life. The characters include but not limited to; Cat in The Hat, Horton, JoJo, The Who’s, Sour Kangaroo and her Joey, The Whickersham Brothers, and many more! It goes through the adventures of Horton the Elephant with everyone’s favorite cat as the narrator. Seussical will be showing at the Wylie Performing Arts Center from November 11th through November 14th. This show is family friendly and perfect for the kids.
