Teachers and students alike dress up for spirit days! The annual Wylie Homecoming game has come and gone. The game on September 27, 2019 resulted with Brownwood winning 33-0. Even though Wylie lost the game, Christina Hancock, the announced homecoming queen, still had something to celebrate, saying she loves everyone at Wylie and that she feels extremely loved by all the students and teachers that attend the school.

Traditions leading up to the game involve spirit days. Spirit days are before every pep rally to show school support, but for the homecoming week, Monday through Friday had a spirit day. Monday was Future day, Tuesday Disney, Wednesday Superhero, Thursday Bulldogs, and Friday Homecoming day.
