Once again, Wylie’s Destination Imagination program has had a successful year. With 8 of 12 original teams qualifying for the state competition, they were headed to Corpus Christi.  On Saturday, March 23, our Wylie DI program was represented well. The results are as follows:

Oddly Uncommon- 3rd place
Screaming Banana Goats- 5th place
May Ham- 5th place

Pickled Leprechauns- 8th place
Boom! The Purple Alliance- 5th Place
Metallic Chickens- 11th place

The advancing teams -those who placed first through fifth- will head to the global level competition in Kansas City, Missouri from May 22- May 25. The students will be alongside more than 1,400 of the top-scoring teams from 45+ U.S. states and 14+ countries in order to showcase their innovative challenge solutions.
