To start off the October season, Wylie held their annual Big Country Marching Festival, (BCMF) where 20 schools from around Texas going from 1A-5A came to perform their UIL marching show for the year.

And finally ending with our Wylie Pure Gold Band as Exhibition.
The contest went from 8:00 in the morning to the awards ceremony at 4:15 in the afternoon. We had many amazing schools come out and perform their show for the judges and represent their school that day. During the awards, Clyde dominated the competition winning: Best Overall Brass, Best Overall Woodwinds, Best Overall Color guard, Best Overall Percussion, 3A Champions, and then as well won between 1A-5A awards: Best Overall Brass, Best Overall Woodwinds, Best Overall Color guard and not only that but were as well announced the Overall Grand Champions of the annual Big Country Marching Festival with their show “Haunted Mansion.”
Next up, on Oct. 20 the Wylie Pure Gold Band will be going to Shotwell Stadium to perform their 25-26 show “Into The Unknown” for the UIL Regional after school at 5:00 pm on Monday.
