The Wylie Bulldogs baseball team advanced to the Class 5A Regional Semifinals after a thrilling 5-4 win over El Paso Del Valle in Game 3 of their playoff series on Saturday, May 10. The game was close throughout, with both teams showing resilience, but Wylie held on to secure the victory and move forward in the postseason. With their strong performance, the Bulldogs now hold an impressive 23-5-1 record overall, with a solid 16-3 mark at home and a respectable 7-2 away.
Wylie will now face Grapevine in the Regional Semifinals in a best-of-three series at Graham High School. Game 1 is scheduled for Wednesday, May 15 at 7:00 PM. Game 2 will be played on Thursday, May 16 at 1:00 PM, and if necessary, Game 3 will follow at 4:00 PM.
