The 2024 Wylie Bulldogs basketball season has come to an end for the girls but not the boys. Both the boys’ and girls’ teams fought hard all season, giving it their all every time they stepped on the court. After months of intense practices and tough matchups, these Bulldogs deserve some praise.
The boys’ team finished the regular season with a 16-12 record, fighting through a tough schedule and picking up big wins along the way. They are scheduled to play Lubbock Cooper in Snyder today at 6:30. The girls’ team had an incredible season, ending with a 27-6 record and proving to be one of the top teams in the district. Both teams showed resilience, determination, and a relentless drive to win.
When playoffs came around, the Bulldogs were ready. The boys’ team took the court with confidence, securing big wins and making a strong push. They hope to continue their season after a win tonight. The girls’ team fought just as hard, showing resilience and determination in every game. Even when faced with challenges, they never backed down.
What the players should know is that both teams have made Wylie proud. From early morning practices to late-night games, they left it all on the court. The future is bright for Wylie basketball.
