On January 21, 2025 President Donald Trump announced “the largest AI infrastructure project by far, in history.” They had first built an energy technology and infrastructure in 2022 called “Lancium” which accelerates the energy transition and focuses on Bitcoin mining (the process by which transactions, mostly cryptocurrency, are officially entered on record). President Trump says that Project Stargate will result in 100,000 jobs opening almost immediately and is said to be “the most important project of this era”.
The initial investors for Project Stargate are Softbank, OpenAI, Oracle, and MGX, and they will closely collaborate to start up and operate this system. They will have all collectively invested $500 billion by the year 2029. Project Stargate will store, operate, and train all of the United States Artificial Intelligence, including all of the data stored on your cellular device. Larry Ellison also said that with the AI world expanding, we could possibly see a production of mRNA vaccines against cancer and other types of currently untreatable diseases.
They have started construction in Abilene, Texas and are building a total of 10 buildings. They plan to expand to more states and even countries like Japan, with Trump saying he will use executive orders to help construction and guest workers going there.
With many new additions to the world, there will be new inventions, data found, and even species discovered. These data centers are a conspiracy and a debated topic among many people, but are part of the future whether people agree with it or not.
