August 29th, began the kick off of our first spirit day, with all our Bulldog fanatics showing their school spirit as Wylie took over the jungle Thursday, ready to paint Brownwood Purple and Gold that next night. Unfortunately due to issues with the weather, the game had been delayed and eventually cancelled.
September 11th, marked our third spirit day, and the official first away game with Lubbock Coronado. Our patriotic Bulldogs filled the halls with Stars and Stripes and the bleachers with purple and gold. As Wylie took an early lead, the Coronado Mustangs could only see purple and gold stars. With the support of the cheerleaders revving up the crowd and the band chanting and playing the school song, the Wylie Bulldogs victoriously secured their second win with a score of 41-12.
Way to go to our fantastic team, keep up the great work, and keep up the outstanding Wylie spirit! Homecoming pictures and results are coming soon!
