With the arrival of summer, many Americans will soon be vacationing throughout the United States. According to TripAdvisor, over half of the population plan to go on vacation during the summer. The most visited places within the United States have a wide range of things for people to experience. The most popular destinations are no different, each has its own atmosphere, climate, and activities to suit vacationers.

- Orlando, FL It comes as no surprise that Orlando tops the list with most visitors during the summer months. Orlando has many amusement parks within its area such as, Disney World and Universal Studios. The close proximity to the beaches of Florida, and the consistent summer temperatures from being in the south allow the city of Orlando to be the most visited vacation spot in the United States.
- Las Vegas, NV Las Vegas comes in at second within the list of most popular destinations in the United States. Las Vegas which is known as the “entertainment capital of the world” is most widely known for the Strip. Las Vegas has many places for tourists to go and see. There is the Coca Cola store, the M&M store, Hoover Dam, Museums, collections, and plenty more to go and visit.
- Myrtle Beach, SC Located along the Atlantic Coast, Myrtle Beach is third in the list. Myrtle Beach offers many things to do while on Vacation. There are aquariums, amusement parks, fishing, golfing, and many other various activities. All of which is located along one of the nicest coastlines in the United States.
All in all, Americans who go on summer vacation have no short list of places to go see. There are many different cities and areas of the United States for one to go visit to suit their own wants.
