The Wylie High School Chapter of TAFE (Texas Association of Future Educators) recently journeyed to Kalahari Resort to compete at their state competition.
Members competed in many different events from making bulletin boards and books, to presenting on education related topics, to changing lesson plans for diverse learners. Each of these competitors had previously competed at regionals and scored high enough to continue. Now some are continuing even further to national competitions.
On February 27, 16 TAFE members left to compete at state competitions. After competing with over 3,400 other students, all 16 left with an award for one or more competitions each. Three members are continuing to Nationals.
