About a week ago was Meet the Bulldogs. For those of you who don’t know what Meet the Bulldogs is, it’s is a great place at the start of the year to show school spirit. At this event, clubs and groups of all kinds all get together on Hugh Sandifer Stadium and get their groups called out to stand in front of all the Wylie supporters. Some groups include the swim team, the varsity football team and so many more.
Another set of events from a week ago was the start of the football season. The Jr. varsity and varsity teams sadly lost against Brownwood and Lubbock Monterey. Both freshmen teams won by a landslide against both. Let’s hope the Bulldogs can turn this season around. Next, we will play Lubbock Cooper on Thursday at 4:30 at Hugh Sandifer and Centennial Stadium for freshmen and JV. Varsity plays at Lubbock.
