Tennis 2018 #VAMO-Updated

The back to back state champions Wylie Tennis Team is working hard in the individual season. Their most recent tournament in Waco was a success. Analeah Elias was the Cons Champ in A Girls Singles; B Girls Singles second place winner was Trinity Miller; B Boys Doubles winners were partners Courtney Holmes and Cason Byington, and A Girls Doubles Cons Finalists were Elle Schroeder and Andrea McMillan.

District for Varsity Tennis was a success for the Wylie Bulldogs. 15 regional qualifiers will have the chance to compete for a spot for the State Tournament. Results from the tournament are as follows:
Girls singles: Analeah Elias in first place and Trinity Miller in second place

Boys singles: Lane Adkins in first place and Jordan McNair in fourth place

Girls doubles: Hailey Parker and Madison Andrews in first with Elle Schroeder and Andrea McMillan behind them in second

Boys doubles: First place went to Zane McCurley and Cole Edwards with Courtney Holmes and Cason Byington in second

Mixed doubles: Kaitlyn Hathorn and Davyn Williford earned first place with Andrew Zhang and Leighton Alford in second
